UK: WOLF eMobility and Volkswagen's GOLF opposition

UKIPO / reporting about Sept. 14, 2026: Foot Anstey reports that UKIPO rejected Volkswagen's opposition to WOLF eMobility GmbH. The hearing officer found consumers would distinguish GOLF from WOLF eMobility and did not establish a reputation link under section 5(3), despite GOLF's enhanced distinctiveness and reputation.
