What we do

The USPTO will not give legal advice. A search-and-file shop that is not a law firm cannot appear for you. We can search, prepare the application, file it, and stay on the case when the examining attorney writes back.
Application preparation
Attorney-prepared U.S. applications from $200, plus USPTO fees. The USPTO base fee is $350 per class. A one-class application that uses the USPTO's ID Manual descriptions pays only that; custom descriptions or missing information add per-class surcharges. Other filings may cost more.
Foreign-domiciled clients
If you do not have a U.S. domicile, the USPTO requires a U.S.-licensed attorney. We file and prosecute for owners outside the United States, including Canadian owners.
Office actions
Likelihood of confusion, descriptiveness, specimen problems, and identifications that need a rewrite. Deadlines are short. The response is the case.
Portfolio and maintenance
Declarations of use, renewals, and the quiet work of keeping a registration from dying on a missed date. One mark or a stack of them.
